Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using MCPLookup (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms, a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Site (“we,” “us”). If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Site. If you don’t agree with these Terms, don’t use the Site.

What MCPLookup is

MCPLookup is an informational directory of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. It syncs from public registries and enriches each listing with automated trust signals. Everything on this site is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, or security advice, and it is not a substitute for your own due diligence before you connect to any server.

The assessments are signals, not guarantees

The verdicts, labels, and scores we publish are automated assessments formed from sourced, timestamped data, as described in our methodology. They are opinions intended to inform your own review, not statements of fact, certifications, endorsements, guarantees of safety, or accusations of wrongdoing against any provider. Coverage is uneven and is stated on every verdict. Data may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and a server’s behaviour can change at any time after we assess it.

No warranty

The Site and all data on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, complete, or safe.

Use at your own risk

You are solely responsible for evaluating any MCP server before you install, connect to, or rely on it, and for any decision you make based on information found here. MCPLookup does not operate, control, or endorse the third-party servers it lists, and is not responsible for their conduct, content, availability, or security.

Submissions

If you submit a server, correction, or other content to us, you represent that you have the right to do so and that the submission is accurate and not misleading. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, and adapt that submission in connection with the Site. We may review, edit, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion, and we are under no obligation to publish or retain it.

Acceptable use and our content

The Site, its design, and the data, assessments, and compilations we publish (excluding third-party names and content) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for your own reference. You may not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically extract the Site or its data; resell or redistribute it; or use it to build or train a competing product, dataset, or service, except with our prior written permission or as expressly allowed by our robots.txt. You also agree not to interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site.

Third-party names, links, and trademarks

Server names, package names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here is nominative, for identification and commentary, and does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners. We link to external sites and repositories we do not control and are not responsible for their content.

Corrections, takedowns, and copyright

If you operate a server and believe a verdict is inaccurate, out of date, or unfair, we want to fix it. Email hello@mcplookup.com with the details and we’ll review it promptly, correcting or removing the listing where warranted.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to the address above identifying the work, the material you say infringes it and where it is on the Site, your contact details, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized. We will remove infringing material in appropriate cases and may terminate access for repeat infringers.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us and our officers, members, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its data, or your reliance on any assessment, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us to use the Site, which for this free service is zero US dollars (US$0). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Privacy

If you give us your email address to join the waitlist or contact us, we store it to reach you about MCPLookup and nothing else. We do not sell your personal information. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@mcplookup.com.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Colorado for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and your continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.

General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and the provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You consent to receive notices from us electronically.
